Dr. Mahmood S. Choudhery is a Tenured Associate Professor current working as Tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Human Genetics & Molecular Biology, University of Health Sciences, Lahore. Previously he worked as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences, working at the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Laboratory of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at King Edward Medical University. He received his BSc (Hons) from Punjab University and worked for his PhD at the National Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), Punjab University, and the University of Arizona, USA. He continued his research on stem cells at the University of Arizona in Dr. Harris Laboratory. Along with teaching, Dr. Choudhery researches stem cell-based regenerative therapies, gene editing for various diseases and disorders. Dr. Choudhery is an editorial board member of several international journals of high repute and has published his research work in many leading journals.
