Prof. Qin has been focusing on organic waste resource utilization and multi-energy complementarity. Facing the world's scientific and technological frontiers and major national needs, he has undertaken scientific research projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Natural Science Foundation of China, and enterprises. Representative projects: Key technology of zero-carbon regional cogeneration of biomass and solar energy - key technology research on high fuel adaptability and wide load internal combustion engine, iron-based oxygen carrier deep oxidation coal/biomass gasification mechanism research, cross-scale interface reaction during coal chemical looping combustion, biomass ultra-low emission control research, 24MW agricultural and forestry biomass cogeneration project, FID detector hydrogen flame combustion state simulation project research, nuclear power plant safety DCS cabinet fire load calculation and simulation design service support, Jinghai waste incineration power plant SNCR denitrification CFD research, Guoneng Group carbon-based solid acid preparation and its catalytic cellulose saccharification technology. Prof. Qin has published more than 110 papers, authorized more than 20 invention patents, served as a special reviewer for many international journals, and maintained good cooperative relations with many scientific research institutes.
