Dr. Jay Prakash Verma did Ph.D. from BHU and working as a Senior Assistant Professor in IESD, Banaras Hindu University, India since 2011. Presently, he is Visiting Professor, Department of Soil Science, Federal University of Ceara, Fortaleza, Brazil since 19.09.22 to 19.03.2023. He was Visiting fellow at HIE, Western Sydney University, Australia for research on core microbiome of cotton plants since 1 Dec, 2017 to 31 July, 2018. His expertise more than 15-year on microbial consortium, biofertilizers, bio-controlling agent, PGPR, Phytomicobiome, Sustainable Agriculture, Plant-Soil-Microbe Interaction, microbial bioremediation, and bioethanol production n. I have been completed 5 Ph.D., 4 M.Phil., and 15 M.Sc. thesis works. He has published 94 research and review article, 26 Book chapters, 2 edited books, 55 published abstract, 2 articles and 40 Hindi news coverage of biofertilizers popularization among 4000 farmers of eastern UP and published more than 50 local Hindi new paper media coverage. He has submitted more than 300 soil bacteria strains in NCBI. He has citation more than 6600 (Google citations) and has a cumulative impact factor of more than 540. He has more than 12 research projects related to plant-microbe interactions. He has visited Spain, Paris and Shanghai, Brazil and Australia countries. He got Indo-Australia Carrier boosting gold fellowship in 2017 and 2-time young scientist project award 2013 and 2018.
