Celso Recalde

National University of Chimborazo

Celso Recalde is a professional researcher, “Perfiles” journal Chief editor, reviewer, principal professor at Escuela Superior Politécncia de Chimborazo- ESPOCH, Ecuador. He majored in physics at the ESPOCH, Ms.C. in environmental management at the UNACH, and received a D.Sc. from the José Antonio Echeverría Higher Polytechnic Institute CUJAE, Cuba. He has proficiency, expertise and skills in the field of renewable energy and environment. Areas of expertise: Microbial Fuel Cells: biosensor, bioelectricity and hydrogen production. Thermosolar: Solar Water Heaters, Solar Potential and Transmittance. Sustainability-Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation.

He has achieved over 35 national and international awards for research grants. Publications are in bioelectricity, biosensor, environment and solar energy. It became undergraduate program manager Engineering Environmental Biotechnology. He founded of the first Research Center of the ESPOCH (CEAA) and Chair of the alternative energies research group.
